Since moving to Dereel, I have been taking weekly photos of the garden. These photos are of our house in Stones Road. Except as noted, they were taken on Saturday, 30 November 2024. Apart from these photos I also have photos of our previous house in Kleins Road.

Most of these photos are panoramas. Since moving to Stones Road, the system is relatively consistent. The 360° panoramas are taken at intervals of 90° with a fisheye lens (an Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 8 mm f/3.5 until 9 September 2017, and a Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8mm f/1.8 Fisheye PRO after that). Each view consists of 3 images bracketed 3 EV apart, usually at +4 EV, +1 EV and -2 EV from the “normal” exposure. These images are then blended with enblend and then stitched with Hugin. Since early 2017 some of the narrower panoramas (180° and less) were taken with a Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 15 mm f/1.7 ASPH. and processed in the same way.
