This directory contains larger documents, mainly books. They're not all by me. Currently it contains:

• The source and PDF versions of “The Complete FreeBSD”
• A copy of John Lions' “A commentary on the Sixth Edition UNIX Operating System”. This form of the document was published on the USENET alt.folklore.computers newsgroup in May 1994.
• “Porting UNIX Software”, my first book. It was realeased under Creative Commons in late 2004.
• Unix Text Processing, by Dale Dougherty and Tim O'Reilly. It was written in 1987 and was released under the Creative Commons license some time ago. This directory is a mirror of my “working” version (but I'm not really working on it much). The PDF version of the chapters is here.
• slides from Van Jacobson's presentation on network performance improvement at linux.conf.au 2006.
• A number of links on the topic of languages. This doesn't really belong here, and one day it will move.
